Family History

Finding the names and the dates, the land transactions and the marriage records... these are the framework.  The stories make these people -- that gave us our noses, dark eyes, curly hair, medical condition tendencies, and personality quirks  -- come alive.  That's what makes history real.  I'll post some of the framework and some of the stories that I've collected here on this page, and I'd love your input too. Some stories may show up on the blog page.

The policy of this blog is not to post any personally identifiable information on any living person.  Please follow this guideline in anything you share.

Framework, Part I:
This is the Ancestor Tree for Judson J. Beemer, "Grandpa Jud," to my father-in-law and his kids.  I'll name off the people in this tree so you can find them if you search the page.  Judson J. BEEMER's parents were Seeley J. BEEMER and Mary J. CRAM.  We'll go from the bottom now.  Mary's parents were James CRAM and Amanda EVERTSON.  Seeley's parents were Judson BEEMER and Esther MILLER.  Esther Miller's parents were Jacob MILLER and Esther VAN SICKLE.  Esther Van Sickle's parents were Rinear VAN SICKLE and Esther.  Jacob Miller's parents were Jacob MILLER and Elizabeth DICKHOUT.  Elizabeth Dickhout's parents were Johann H. DICKHOUT and Anna C. TEIGERT.  That's as far back as I'm going for this line.  Judson Beemer's parents were Alexander BEEMER and Arsenith WILSIE.  Alexander Beemer's parents were Henry BEEMER and Mary SPANGENBERG.

I'll be adding more family trees here for reference, and posting some of the stories and information on the blog page.   I'll also correct and update all information as I learn more!
